Description
Vasil Levski National Stadium is a multi-sports stadium in Sofia, Bulgaria, named after the Bulgarian national hero and revolutionary Vasil Levski.
The stadium was opened in 1953 and underwent reconstruction in 1966 and 2002.
The stadium holds 46,340 spectators and is the home field for the Bulgarian national football team. The sports complex hosts competitions in judo, gymnastics, basketball, boxing, fencing, lawn tennis and other sports.
